TOUCHDOWN - Pilot/Controller Glossary

Term:	TOUCHDOWN
Meaning:	The point at which an aircraft first makes contact with the landing surface. Concerning a precision radar approach (PAR), it is the point where the glide path intercepts the landing surface.
