SriLankan Airlines is the national flag carrier of Sri Lanka, headquartered in Katunayake with its primary hub at Bandaranaike International Airport. Launched in 1979 as Air Lanka, the Oneworld alliance member provides extensive passenger and cargo connectivity throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. The airline operates an all-Airbus fleet composed of A320 and A321 narrow-body jets, as well as A330 wide-body aircraft for its long-haul operations.
